Liz's Kitchen: Audrey's Rice recipe

One of my favorite things about finding these old recipes is hearing my mom's reaction when I tell her what I'm making, and this recipe was no different. It was an immediate time travel to her childhood and she told me what they would always have with it and that's what food is all about. It helps that this is a tasty and easy recipe too! Audrey was my grandfather's cousin's wife and this was clearly... her rice. My grandma had me make this a few times when I loved with her and it packed so much flavor into boring white rice. I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients
1 cup white rice
1 can Beef Consomme
1 can Onion soup (French onion is all I could find and it works great)
3/4 stick butter, cut in pats

Instructions
Heat over to 350 degrees.
Pour rice, beef Consomme, and french onion soup into a baking dish. Evenly distribute the pats of butter. Bake in the uncovered dish for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Stir and serve.
