Weekend and holiday breakfasts are my favorite. There is something about it that just makes me feel warm. This recipe is the ultimate salt/sweet breakfast bite - perfect for any weekend or holiday!
Ingredients
1 tube cinnamon rolls (with icing)
1 lb breakfast sausage
2 tbsp melted butter
3 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup maple syrup
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375. Then brown your sausage in a pan and set aside.
Melt your butter and place it in the bottom of an 8x8 pan. Cut your cinnamon rolls into 8 pieces and then put them in the bottom of your 8x8 pan as well as your sausage, mixing them together.
Next, mix your eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl and pour over the cinnamon roll and sausage in the baking dish. Then, pour the syrup over as well.
Bake in the over for 30-40 minutes, checking the doneness of the cinnamon rolls. Remove from the over and drizzle the icing over the bake. Cut and serve!
