I know healthy doesn't normally do well on Liz's Kitchen but this recipe is too good not to pass on. I got it from my sister who has been killing it with her weight loss and overall health and she swears by this meal as he go to lunch! I agree!! It's easy to make and it's super tasty. Give it a try!!!
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey (or pork)
1 bag Asian Slaw Mix (or Broccoli Slaw mix for more crunch)
2.25 tsp minced garlic
6 tbsp Soy Sauce
3 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
2 tbsp Light Brown Sugar
1.5 tsp crushed ginger
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
Instructions
Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, light brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar together and set aside.
Cook ground turkey in a pan, and when cooked make a hole in the middle. Add ginger and garlic and let cook for one minute then mix in with the turkey.
Add slaw mix and let that cook for one minute and then add the sauce.
Mix it well and then let simmer for a few minutes to really incorporate all the flavors.
Serve or divided it into four for your meal prepped lunch!
Enjoy!
