I was thinking meat raffles and patio drinking when I cam up with this tartlet idea. I love goat cheese and the play of heat and sweet. These are mostly assembly which I love - a quick use if the stove top and oven and you're ready to go. Super easy to make, and a delicious one bit app ready to go!
Ingredients
1 box Mini Phyllo Pastry Shells
8 oz Honey Goat Cheese
2-3 slices bacon, cooked drained, and diced
Hot Honey
Green Onion, sliced thinly
Instructions
Cook pastry shells by following the directions on the box. At the same time, dice your bacon into small pieces and cook in a pan. Once cooked spoon bacon into bowl with the goat cheese (you want a little bit of the bacon grease to go with it), leaving some bacon aside to sprinkle over the top. With a hand mixer, whip the bacon and goat cheese together until well blended. Scoop and place goat cheese mixture into the mini phyllo dough cups. Next, drizzle the hot honey over the cups and then sprinkle the bacon and sliced green onion over the top. Serve and enjoy!
