A one bundt pan dish? Is that thing? It is now, because you will be adding this to your favorites after you try it once. The general idea of a monkey bread but were taking it the savory route. It's like we took a pizza and turned it on its head, but in a good way!
Ingredients
1lb Italian sausage (we used Minio and Sapio cheese and parsley Italian sausage)
2 cans of Grand biscuits
1 diced sweet onion
2-3 roasted red peppers
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded asiago
1 cup shredded mozzarella
2 tsp of onion powder
2 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Chefs tomato basil or whatever sauce you want for dipping
Instructions
Cook sweet onions to almost caramelize and then remove from pan and cook Italian sausage. Once browned, add the roasted red peppers and cook for a few more mins, and then add the onions back and cook for a few more.
While that’s cooked cut up the biscuits into smaller pieces add to a bowl. Add all the cheeses to the bowl and then the meat mixture from the pan.
Stir until everything is mixed. This is where you think you're done mixing but you're not, keep mixing.
Add the mixture to a greased bundt pan and bake at 350 for 50 -55 mins. Wrap the top in tin foil to prevent too much darkening.
Heat sauce, dip away, and enjoy!
