It's another recipe from Grandma George's recipe stash, so you know it's going to be good! This recipe was submitted to the cookbook from Roxanne Curtis on Hilton, NY and let me tell you, she knows her stuff! This is a quick recipe for a delicious appetizer. Perfect for if you're having people over in the summer - these would also be delicious in the winter too! Hope you enjoy :)
Ingredients
2 eggs slightly beaten
2 tbs margarine, melted
1 tsp flour
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp parsley flakes
1/4 tsp onion salt
1 (8 oz) can crescent dinner rolls
1 (6 oz) container of French Fried onions, crushed
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl mix the first 6 ingredients together. Sperate the dough into four rectangles, sealing the perforated edges. Cut each rectangle into 8 strips and dip each strip into the mixture and then coat with the crushed French Fried onions. Place onto an ungreased cookie sheet at cook for 8-12 minutes, until golden brown. Remove immediately from the cookie sheet. Enjoy!
