Wedge Salad w/ Grampy's Thousand Island

Liz's Kitchen is BACK! I'm so excited to kick it off with a family recipe that we treasure. My grandpa did most, if not ALL, of the cooking when he was alive and this was was a fan favorite. We still make it to this day at all our family holidays and my Aunt Jeanette had perfected making it with her eyes closed. It's one of those recipes that you just kinda eyeball and know when you taste it. Thank goodness before my grandma passed away my mom made her make it in slow motion so she could record measurements.

This salad dressing is perfect for any salad but I really love it on a wedge with some bacon and cheese. Hope you enjoy it!

1 cup mayo
2-3 tablespoons Chili Sauce
1 tablespoon sugar

It's so simple, throw these three ingredients in a bowl and whisk. You can use a whisk or a fork. Either serve immediately over your favorite salad, or you can store in the fridge for about a week.

I normally end up doubling the recipe for more than two people. Taste test and add more or less sugar depending on how tangy you like it. I for sure always lean towards the 3 tablespoons of chili sauce and sometimes add a little more. Again, it's all about your taste preference.
This will keep in the fridge for a while but we normally make it so it covers the meal and the next day.
