Diana Bailey of the Maryland Women's Heritage Center joined Spotlight on Maryland to highlight the importance of acknowledging and appreciating women's history. In the Interview, she comments on how so much of the history we learn is primarily focused around the actions of men. MWHC works to promote a more female centered way of learning, in hopes to shine a light on a less appreciated side of history. Diana emphasizes how women's history is not only important for young girls to learn about, but also boys. And with more of women's history taught to younger generations, a more equally appreciated history can build a better future. Click here to go to their website to learn more.
