This week on Spotlight on Maryland, Gina Crash spoke with Keona Tranby, Director of Marketing & Communications for the American Craft Council, (ACC), about their American Craft Made Marketplace coming back to Baltimore in-person May 20-22, 2022 at the Baltimore Convention Center and online May 16-29, 2002 at shop.craftcouncil.org.
The ACC is based in Minneapolis, but the national non-profit working to keep the craft community connected, inspired and thriving, has been hosting the event, formerly known as the Baltimore American Craft Show, in Baltimore for more than 45 years and will feature an Explore Local area this year! This year's event is free to attend, but the suggested donation amount is $15 per person. Donations help the ACC continue supporting artists' livelihoods and connecting people to craft through similar events throughout the year.
