On this week's episode of Spotlight On Maryland, we spoke with Randi Pupkin, Founder and Executive Director of Art with a Heart. Over the past 22 years, Randi and her team have grown the organization to provide 14,000 classes each year in Baltimore's under-resourced communities. Their core programs focus on engaging visual art programs in school, shelters, community/rec centers, foster care facilities, senior centers, and more. In addition to the core art classes, they have a workforce development program, a leadership program, community service initiatives, large-scale public art projects, and a retail/social enterprise store called HeARTwares where you can buy art pieces by local artists!

Their Public Art Projects can be found all over Baltimore, and the art is showcased online as well. Donations are always welcome and volunteers and needed! You can support artists and Art with a Heart HERE. Volunteer opportunities are also available! Listen to the full interview below to learn more about the amazing work being done by Art with a Heart.
