Last week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Matthew Reeds, Deputy Director of Baltimore Homecoming, and Noah Smock, Executive Director of Baltimore Community ToolBank and the 2022 Homecoming Hero Award winner to talk about this year's Homecoming Hero Awards and the Crab Tank Pitch Competition.
Baltimore Homecoming is a mobilizing network of Baltimore's most accomplished natives and alumni from around the U.S. and the world to invest in our city. Their mission is to connect Baltimoreans from across the world with our city's leaders and innovators to spark new collaborations and drive new investments in Baltimore's future.
The Homecoming Hero Awards, sponsored by T. Rowe Price, are public-driven through a nomination process on the Baltimore Banner's website to celebrate and uplift "heroes" within Baltimore's communities. 5 winners will be selected and will be awarded cash prizes of $5,000 and will be invited to share their work on the stage during Baltimore Homecoming's signature event in October.
