This week on Spotlight On Maryland Gina Crash spoke with Sara Johnson, Co-Founder and COO of the nonprofit CASH (Creating Assets, Savings and Hope) Campaign of Maryland about their mission and upcoming Money Power Day 2023, the region's largest free financial fitness fair that will be held on March 18, from 9am-3pm at Poly-Western H.S. in Baltimore.
The CASH Campaign of Maryland works with its partners across the state to promote programs, products and policies that increase the financial security of low-to-moderate income individuals and families across the state. Most services are available at no or low cost to participants including tax preparation, financial education classes and financial coaching. This year Tax Day is Tuesday, April 18 due to the weekend and observance of Emancipation Day.
