This week on Spotlight On Maryland Gina Crash spoke with Comfort Cases Founder Rob Scheer. In 2013, Rob's family and their community founded Comfort Cases and set out on a mission to eliminate trash bags from the foster care system. For 10 years now, the Rockville, Maryland-based non-profit has been inspiring communities to bring dignity and hope to youth in foster care.

November is National Adoption Awareness Month and Rob talked about how during the month of November people can go to Briggs & Riley to donate $10 that provides a child entering foster care with a Comfort XL, a large duffel bag where they can store their belongings and not experience the indignity of living out of a trash bag.

For more information about how you can donate and volunteer with Comfort Cases, visit comfortcases.org. You can also follow them on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
