This week on Spotlight On Maryland, we spoke with Linda Cameron, Vice President of Philanthropy at Kennedy Krieger Institute, and Alex Bartlett, Middle Market Banking Manager at Truist. Kennedy Krieger's 33rd Festival of Trees is back at the Timonium Fairgrounds the weekend after Thanksgiving, and there's something there for everyone!
The annual 3-day event is back in-person for the first time since 2019 and there's so much to look forward to! There will be hundreds of designer-decorated trees, wreaths, and gingerbread houses for sale, live music and performances, and even a chance for the kids to visit with Santa. New for this year, there will be a timed-entry ticket system that aims to minimize crowds, reduce lines, and make for a safer event for everyone. Get your tickets HERE!
This year, Kennedy Krieger has partnered with Truist Bank for a massive toy drive that's happening right now! Between now and November 27th, you can donate a new unwrapped toy at any of 33 Truist branches! The list of participating locations can be found HERE!
