This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Traci Kodeck, President & CEO of HealthCare Access Maryland, (HCAM), to talk about how HCAM is helping make Maryland healthier by connecting residents to insurance and care, educating the community about healthier living and advocating for a more equitable health care system. They also discussed Open Enrollment, Federal Funding Cuts and HCAM's New Public Space & Office!
HealthCare Access Maryland is a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that all Marylanders have access to affordable health coverage. HCAM has a team of experts who provide through guidance, compassionate support, and essential resources to help individuals and families navigate health insurance options and enroll in coverage. HCAM is currently in the middle of Open Enrollment so they encourage individuals & families looking for assistance to reach out to their team of Certified Consumer Assistance Workers before the enrollment period ends on January 15th. HCAM recently moved to their new space located at 217 East Redwood Street in Downtown Baltimore. For those coming in person for assistance, you'll find their team of Certified Consumer Assistance Workers on the 9th Floor Sky Lobby. Their team is there Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. You can make an appointment in advance or walk-in.
