This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Dan Baldwin & his Mom Kathy Baldwin along with Adam Falzarano, Media Relations & Communications Coordinator for Infinite Legacy, to talk about the legacy of Kathleen's grandson & Dan's nephew Dewey who was in a car accident this April and his organs were donated to save others lives. They also discussed the critical need for organ, eye and tissue donors.

Infinite Legacy is a non-profit organ procurement organization serving almost 10 million people in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. They facilitate organ, eye and tissue donation and educate people about the critical importance of registering to be a donor. Infinite Legacy works with 68 hospitals and 8 transplant centers to decrease the number of people waiting for a lifesaving transplant. They are passionate about giving life and restoring hope while honoring the legacy and generosity of donors and providing care to their families.

Adam talked about the donation and process and facts and statistics about the need for organ donation. Dan and Kathy shared Dewey's story and legacy.
