This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Stephanie Archer-Smith, CEO & Executive Director of Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, to talk about their mission, programming and future serving Central Maryland since 1960! Stephanie also shared exciting details about their new HQ location coming to Edmonson Village.
For seniors throughout Central Maryland, Meals On Wheels does more than deliver nutritious meals, they provide support and safety-net services that help sustain health, promote independence, and improve overall quality of life. They offer a holistic approach to enhancing the well-being of our senior neighbors. Their "More than a meal" service is designed to provide not only nourishment but also companionship, support, and independence for seniors in Central Maryland.
Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland serves by providing nutritious meals to those who are homebound and unable to shop or cook for themselves-because of age, disability or illness. You can support daily meal delivery and safety checks by donating or volunteering to help empower aging adults to maintain their independence at home.
