This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash spoke with Mary Helfrich, Chief Advancement Officer of St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore, about their 16th annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser that is returning in person for the first time since 2019 on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 12pm-3pm at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium. To enhance safety, seating and activities will be outdoors "Al Fresco" style in a tented area with optional outdoor seating available.

Empty Bowls raises funds and generates awareness for St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore's mission of assisting those impacted by hunger, homelessness and poverty. Funds raised help to ensure that those impacted by poverty have the skills, resources and opportunities to achieve their full potential.
