On this week’s Spotlight on Baltimore, we welcomed back Kim Callari, Deputy Director of The Baltimore Station. We also spoke with Michael Crawford, a graduate of the program, about his experience and how he went from being homeless to owning his own home.
The Baltimore Station has been serving our homeless veterans for more than 30 years. It began as a small group of devoted citizens assisting the homeless in South Baltimore, and has grown into a world-class therapeutic residential treatment program that has helped so many veterans. The Baltimore Station has 138 beds, providing homeless men, mostly vets, with an opportunity to turn their lives around. We spoke with one of their graduates, Michael Crawford. Since graduating from the program, Michael moved to Georgia where he recently purchased his first home. When he's back in Baltimore, he always stops by to speak with the men at the Baltimore Station.

On April 13th, the Baltimore Station is hosting their first Take a Swing for Recovery! It’s a new twist on a classic event and a great way to see the new Top Golf and support a great cause. Tickets are available HERE! Listen to the entire interview below to learn more.
