This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash spoke with Suzanne Green, Executive Director of Community Development for the Y in Central Maryland about their upcoming Y Turkey Trot Charity 5K, a Maryland Thanksgiving family tradition for 27 years in Towson, 26 in Bel Air, 11 in Westminster, 9 in Ellicott City and Baltimore City, and 8 in Arnold!
This year the Y Turkey Trot will take place in person at 6 locations across Central Maryland, (Arnold, Baltimore City, Bel Air, Ellicott City, Towson and Westminster) on Thanksgiving morning. Participants are also encouraged to help stock the Y community food pantries by donating non-perishable and canned food to families and individuals who are food insecure.
