An apparent drug "queen pin" has been arrested in Western North Carolina. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office says a Forest City woman is facing drug trafficking charges after the search of a home in the Harris Community.
Deputies say Amanda Blake Smith is charged with trafficking fentanyl, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and other crimes.
The search uncovered 1,600 fentanyl pills, an ounce of powder fentanyl and a handgun. Smith is being held in Rutherford County on a bond of 1 million dollars.
