The body of a drowning victim was recovered from a lake in North Georgia, Saturday night. A volunteer group who does search and recovery reported finding a body in nearly 90 feet of water at Lake Hartwell. The Hart County Sheriff's Office says, crews searched that same area for a drowning victim in June.
The volunteer group is called Bruce's Legacy Search And Recovery. The non-profit says they have recovered more than 70 bodies from various waterways across five different countries. The identity of the person recovered from the lake has not been released, as of this time.
The recovery crew was back in the water Sunday, to search for a different potential drowning victim. No information has been on those efforts, at this time.
