A motherload of marijuana has been seized in an Upstate drug investigation. The Laurens County Sheriff's Office says, more than 200 pounds of marijuana was confiscated in the operation. The load was found during a search on Gibbs Road in Laurens, Wednesday.
Investigators say, a large amount of cash and a gun were both also found in the search. Three suspects, Leviticus Thompson, Davon Oneal Boyce and Kezario Whitmore were all arrested. Boyce and Thompson are charged with trafficking marijuana and criminal conspiracy.
Boyce is also charged with a weapons violation. Whitmore is charged with criminal conspiracy.
