One person is dead after a fire at an apartment complex Tuesday night, October 14, 2026. The Seneca Fire Department responded to a fire at the North Hunter Street Apartments, just after 11PM.
Upon arrival, fire crews could see smoke coming from one apartment. Firefighters had to make a forced entry and the victim was found.
They were pronounced dead after life saving efforts were unsuccessful.

The identity of the victim, has not been released at this time and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
