A Greenwood County man already serving time in state prison is now facing more charges. SLED says 37 year old, Lamarcus Alexander Stewart Jr. of Hodges is charged with stalking, exploitation a vulnerable adult, and financial identity fraud.
Warrants say that in 2018, Stewart abandoned the victim while they were having a stroke. Stewart then reportedly took their vehicle and their personal identification. The stroke left the victim paralyzed.
Another warrant says that Stewart started sending threatening texts to the victim, last year. Stewart also allegedly used the victim's personal information to open financial accounts. Stewart is in custody at Turbeville Correctional Facility in the Low Country.
