An Upstate man stands accused of sexually assaulting his step daughter. The Mauldin Police Department says, 53 year old, Brett Anthony Davis of Pelzer is charged 1st degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and unlawful conduct towards a child.
Investigators say the allegations go as far back as 2003, when the girl was just 5 years old. Davis is accused of forcing the child to perform sexual acts on him and exposing the victim to child sexual abuse material. Davis lived in Mauldin at the time of the alleged crimes.
He has been arrested and is currently being held without bond in Greenville County.
