A Suspect wanted in connection to a deadly shooting at a Gaffney apartment complex is now in custody. Officials say 20-year-old Israel Quan’Ye Currence, turned himself in after being charged in a July 22nd shooting at Connecticut Village Apartments.
The victim identified as 41 year-old, Prentiss Hollaway was found shot to death in the apartment complex parking lot. Cherokee County Sheriff Steve Mueller says that Currence was escorted by his mother to the sheriff’s office around, 10:30 AM Saturday.
Currence is charged with murder and a weapons violation.
