A Georgia judge has sentenced the teenager who killed four people at Apalachee High School to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Sixteen-year-old Colt Gray pleaded guilty to over 50 total charges, including murder, after the September 2024 shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia.

Gray was 14 year old when he shot and killed two teachers and two 14-year-old students. Another teacher and eight students were wounded. Gray was sentenced after emotional testimony from victims' families and others involved in the case.

His father, Colin Gray, was convicted earlier this year on charges including second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter. Prosecutors say he gave his son the assault-style rifle used in the attack. Colin Gray is set to be sentenced later this week.
