Three people are facing charges after a man was found dead inside a home in Western North Carolina. The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation or NCSBI was called in after a man was found dead at a residence in Mars Hill. The deceased was identified as Christian Tyler Jamerson.
Investigators determined that his death was drug related. Two suspects Jesse Nathan Minter and Joni Leann Massey were then charged with death by distribution in connection to Jamerson's death. At the home investigators also uncovered evidence linked to a child sex crimes.
A 3rd suspect Michael Scott Buckner with statutory rape of a child 15 years old or younger. All three suspects have been initially denied bond, and are expected to go before a district court judge.
