Jury selection is set to begin for the man whose son is charged with killing four people during a school shooting in North Georgia. Colin Gray faces nearly 30 total counts which included charges of 2nd degree murder and involuntary manslaughter.
The charges comes from a shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder back in September of 2024. Prosecutors say Gray gave his son access to a gun even after the son showed warning signs.
The trial will be held in Winder, but jury selection began Monday in Gainesville.
Gray has remained in custody since his arrest. His son, Colt, has pleaded not guilty to 55 counts, including murder and aggravated assault.
