Two North Carolina men are facing charges after more than 3 dozen dogs were seized in the Upstate. SLED says, 69 year old Dennis Ray Williams and 49 year old, Samuel Garen Mobley were both arrested in connection to a suspected dog fighting ring in the Upstate.
Investigators say a search of a property in Blacksburg led to more than 40 dogs being seized. Authorities say more than three dozen of those dogs had injuries that are consistent with dogfighting.
