A Laurens County man has been sentenced to prison on drug trafficking and assault charges, Jertavious Mantrail Mack received 15 years behind bars for trafficking methamphetamine and an additional 10 years for assault and battery.
Prosecutors say, the assault charge was connected to a 2023 incident in which Mack attacked a victim with a baseball bat. The drug trafficking charge stemmed from a package containing methamphetamine that was intercepted by law enforcement.
Mack was arrested during a controlled delivery operation. The case was prosecuted by the 8th Circuit Solicitor's Office
