Leaders in one Upstate town are revisiting the suspension of the usage of Flock Cameras and license plate reader technology. At Greer City Council's meeting Tuesday, leaders announced plans to discuss whether to continue the town's contract with Flock.
Use of those systems were suspended and the cameras were covered up after two Greer Police Officers fired for misusing the Flock system back in the summer.
Officials in Greer say a workshop will be held there November 10th to present data findings on the use of the system. Two weeks later, a public forum will be held prior to the council voting on the future of the contract.
