A suspect is in custody after investigators say she kidnapped a one year old child from a home in Western North Carolina. The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported abduction at a home in Weaverville, just before 11AM Thursday.
The woman wanted for the kidnapping fled the scene and An Amber Alert was issued. 25 year old Ambriel Grace Ruth Wilson was later taken into custody in East Tennessee. She's charged with kidnapping and abduction of a child.
