An Upstate woman has been charged in connection to the crash that killed Greenwood Police Officer DJ Keller. The Greenwood County Sheriff's Office says 21 year old, Shannon Hope Henderson was arrested, Wednesday. She's charged with contributing to the delinquency of minors and allowing an unauthorized person to operate a vehicle.
Officials say, the charges come after Henderson allowed a 15 year old to drive her Jeep, which was reportedly fleeing a traffic stop when it was involved in the crash that killed Officer Keller. Officials say the Jeep had been involved in multiple shooting incidents.
The teen driver and two other teenagers were injured in the crash. Court records show that Henderson was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor twice, just weeks prior to the fatal crash.
