Zoom meetings are a way of life and it seems that we're still making the same mistakes. Potentially getting caught pantsless and being interrupted by someone or something off camera are just a couple of things that CAN happen. But according to SWNDigital, 44% of us feel second-hand embarrassment for someone when they have to be told that they're on Mute and 51% of us have BEEN that person on mute.

Here are the top 10 things that we're tired of hearing, and potentially saying on our conference calls.
1. "Can you all hear me?" When you're not sure, you have to ask. But we're still tired of it.
2. "Oops, we lost you there for a second." I know what you said was important, but you're gonna have to say it again.
3. "You're on mute." See the little microphone with the line through it? That's your first hint.
4. "Sorry, my connection sucks." you're not in control of EVERYTHING
5. "Please mute yourself if you're not speaking." We can hear your dog barking and it's very distracting.
6. "Ah . . . technology." Usually following #4.
7. "I love your background."
8. "Let's talk about it offline." Then why are we talking ONline?
9. "I'll get it to you by the end of the day." How bout NOW, while we're all together?
10. "Can everyone see my screen?" Much like #1, if you don't ask, you won't know but we're still tired of hearing it.
