Second-grader Lucy Taylor has cerebral palsy, which has made it difficult for her to make friends.

She told her mom she sits alone during recess every day because no one will play with her. Her mother wanted to help her but was unsure how exactly, so she made a Facebook post about her daughter's struggles to see if anyone had advice. Her daughter's principal, Jeremy Thompson, saw the post and decided to help.

The next day Thompson moved his schedule around and sat with Lucy during recess.

It made Lucy's entire day that she finally had someone to talk with!

Lucy's mother shared the story on Facebook again and thanked Mr. Thompson for his kindness and compassion.

Since the first day that he sat with Lucy, he managed to rally a group of students together to create a playtime squad! The kids have nicknamed their group the 'Bubble Squad' and their story has since gone viral with more kids reaching out to be a part of the group.

Lucy's mom is thankful the school has Mr. Thompson as a role model and wrote on Facebook, “Lucy has playground friends. Mr. Thompson taking the time to sit with her of course made other kids want to play too. And it has given Lucy the confidence to try the things that she is not necessarily great at!”

The story really has warmed our hearts and proves how one act of kindness can cause a chain reaction! #GoodVibes
