Last month I told you about my visit to Southern Michigan and my stop at Round Barn Winery, where I tried their Black Walnut Cream liqueur that is super delicious and left me wondering what I could mix it with. I introduced you to their Nutty Pumpkin recipe that was perfect for fall and Pumpkin Spice season.

Now that we are getting closer to the holiday season, I am going to introduce you to their Nutty Russian recipe, which offers a fresh take on a classic White Russian, by using Round Barn's Black Walnut Cream liqueur. Plus it's super simple, and only requires two ingredients!

And remember, you don't have to travel to Michigan for this key ingredient. You can find it right here in the Chicagoland area at any Binny's.

The Nutty Russian cocktail recipe calls for vodka, Round Barn Black Walnut Cream, and a Maraschino cherry for garnish.

So who's ready to mix things up?

Ingredients

• 1 ounce of vodka
• 3 ounces of Round Barn Black Walnut Cream
• Maraschino cherry for garnish (optional)

Directions

Step 1: Fill a glass with ice
Step 2: Add vodka and Black Walnut Cream
Step 3: Top with ice as needed. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry.
