CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Federal prosecutors say a sixth person is now indicted in the murder of a Chicago rapper almost three years ago on the city's Gold Coast.

Rapper FBG Duck was murdered in August of 2020 - gunned down on Oak Street, shot multiple times outside a store in broad daylight.

His real name was Carlton Weekly and federal prosecutors had already charged five people with his murder.  Now a sixth person is charged with murder: 33-year-old Ralph Turpin.

The U.S. Attorney's office said Weekly was killed by members of the O-Block street gang, headquartered near a housing development at 64th and King.

Turpin is in federal custody and has a detention hearing Wednesday.
