(WBBM NEWSRADIO) —With Chicago's St. Patrick's Day parade cancelled — again — some people are expected to try to celebrate at bars.

But restrictions are in place that will prevent the businesses from having full houses.

Butch McGuire's owner Bobby McGuire says he can only serve a little more than half of the usual number of customers he would have on parade day. All of the reservations for Saturday are taken.

"The challenging part will be the people that come to the door that we have to turn away. As a business owner, turning business away is painful," McGuire said.

He'll have extra staff on hand to make sure everyone follows restrictions, he said.

McGuire suggests people consider going to his bar next Wednesday, the actual St. Patrick's Day. There still are plenty of open slots.
