(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A teenaged boy from Robbins is charged in connection with the murder of another teen last year in a forest preserve in Harvey.

Jahqwan Castillo, 17 has been charged as an adult with the murder of Jaiden Howard, 16.

He was found with a gunshot wound to the back of the head in the Kickapoo Meadows Forest Preserve in November.

The Sheriff’s office said detectives later identified Castillo as the suspect and a warrant was issued in April.

Another warrant was issued in May on a charge of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon for an unrelated case.

Earlier this week, the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Sheriff’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit arrested Castillo in Lansing.

He was ordered held without bond.
