(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A weekly farmers market that takes place in Daley Plaza each Thursday is back.
Among the nearly two dozen vendors is Phil Rincon, whose 500 tamales under the Aracely’s banner sold out within a few hours.
“People were waiting for us. We’ve been doing this market here for about five, six years,” he told WBBM Newsradio.
Also being sold were snacks, cheeses and fresh produce. Another farmer’s market mainstay, Misericordia’s Hearts and Flour Bakery, is back with its array of breads and cookies.
Chicago City Markets at Daley Plaza runs 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays.
