The new profile photo, uploaded to Stefani’s account last week, shows Gwen edited into a photo of Blake Shelton from the 2003 CMA Awards, an event he attended with ex-wife, Kaynette Williams.
While many fans found it comical to see Gwen inserted into a photo from Blake’s mullet-rockin’ past, others saw it as disrespectful, believing Gwen may have photoshopped herself over Williams.
While the comment section was a solid mixture of LOLs and OMGs, Gwen has let the photo ride the waves as it still sits proudly as her profile photo.
The curated throwback photo isn’t the first time Gwen has showed off her photo-editing skills. Last year, Gwen photoshopped her ex, Gavin Rossdale, out of a photo they had together by replacing him with Blake. The photo has now been Blake’s Twitter profile photo for almost a year.
