Jade Novah's Shares Hottest Hairstyle Recommendations For Summer 2019

Goddess Locs

Channel your inner boho vibes with this fun and versatile protective style for the summer! You can wear them down, throw them up in a bun, and never have to worry about the heat! I love playing around with threads, beads, colors, and trinkets in my Goddess Locs!! This style actually gets better with time. (Kinda like us beautiful black women...okkayyy?) 

Twist Out

They say the bigger the fro, the closer to God. Don’t let the humidity stop you from letting your hair breath and your fro glow! Our textures are beautiful, and there are so many products that can help with moisture and frizz. I used deva curl products to achieve this two strand twist out. 

Box Braids

There are so many ways to rock box braids. Thick, thin, knotless, waist length, in a bob...there are no limits! Whatever style you decide, make sure you protect your edges because too much manipulation can cause tension. I recommend knotless braids because the braider starts by braiding your natural hair and then adds hair about in inch down to help eliminate tension and give you more versatility in styling! 

Wigs

Who doesn’t love playing around with wigs? I call my wig my “curly hat” because I can literally pop it on when I want to switch up my look and protect my natural hair. Wigs give us limitless options with color, texture, length, layers, and styles! Invest in a good lace front and you’ll never have to worry about having a bad hair day this summer! 

Head Wrap
Wrap it up ladies! The beauty of black girl magic is that we can rock anything and make it a moment! If you’re in a rush and don’t feel like styling your hair, throw on a printed scarf and beat the heat! You can dress it up with a fun jumpsuit or sundress or keep it simple with a tank and shorts.
