Maybe it was the new-for-'24 "Mirage Green" paint. It's another one of those trendy new misty-green-grey high-fashion decorator shades.

Or maybe it was the KONA's still-new sloped rear end. It seems to look a little more pricey than their previous squared-off look…but whatever the cause, my neighbors all guessed that Hyundai's '24 KONA Electric Limited cost several thousand more than it's $42,630 window sticker suggested.
And that $42+ price is for a top-of-the -KONA. Want all-electric for less? Electric KONAs start in the low to mid $30's with a 200 mile range.

We tested the Limited Edition, which for an additional 10K, delivered heated and ventilated faux leather, power lumbar, 17" alloys, roof rails, sunroof, heated side mirrors, heated steering, Bose audio, ambient lighting, a hands-free rear liftgate.
Wireless charging, ambient lighting, surround-view, a 261-mile range, and most of today's expected safety alerts.

And to make driving as seamless as possible, Hyundai has a few desirable extras. One is their vehicle-to-load exterior charging…allowing you to use your KONA's battery to power electrical equipment like tools, camping gear and pumps for floats and inflatable paddleboards and kayaks.
Want another? OK… "Hyundai Pay". Just add your credit card to the Hyundai Pay"' app and enjoy seamless and cashless charging, parking and toll roads. Nice.

And then there's Bluelink+…a no-charge extra to all original Hyundai new car buyers…giving you remote locking / unlocking, pre-heating and cooling and charging…all from your phone.
Plus the sporty "N-Line" and luxury "Limited" offer Hyundai's Digital Key…which allows you to digitally share your key and seating positions via your smartphone or smart watch.

Hyundai's electric KONA's new looks and long list of features allow it to stand head-to-head with a few of today's electric icons. You know who I'm talking about. Take a look for yourself and see if Hyundai…just as they usually do…doesn't offer a whole lot of electric for a little bit less.
