The Vision Community Foundation, Traxx Girls Inc and Rockstars Production announce the return of Atlanta Black Pride Weekend - the country's leading LGBTQ+ annual pride celebration, during Labor Day weekend 2023, Thursday, August 31st - Monday, September 4th, 2023.
The five-day Pride Celebration will include special appearances by: Big Freedia, Saucy Santana, Gary With Da Tea, Derek J and more.
Kicking off Thursday, August 31st with an Atlanta Black Pride Weekend Opening Reception presented by the City of Atlanta and Mayor Andre Dickens at Atlanta City Hall.

The second annual Black Excellence Influencer's Dinner (sponsored by GILEAD and My Black Is Beautiful) will be hosted by RockStars Production and Traxx Girls on Friday, September 1 at the Starling Hotel. This highly anticipated affair serves as a Fundraiser to benefit Atlanta Black Pride Weekend and is a unique opportunity for trailblazers, leaders, and influencers to celebrate accomplishments while highlighting individuals and organizations who significantly impact and contribute to the LGBTQIA+ community. 2023 honorees include: Saucy Santana and Earl D. Fowlkes.
On Sunday, September 3, Atlanta's Piedmont Park will showcase the 11th annual Pure Heat Community Festival; also known as a free “day of unity.”
Big Freedia will receive the annual ICON award at the 2023 festival.
