Hawks to Celebrate Magic City with “Magic City Monday” — T.I. to Perform + Exclusive Merch & More

The Atlanta Hawks are bringing one of the city’s most legendary institutions to State Farm Arena for a one-night-only celebration you already know is going to feel very True to Atlanta.

On Monday, March 16, the Hawks will host “Magic City Monday” during their home matchup against the Orlando Magic, honoring the iconic Atlanta landmark that has shaped hip-hop, sports and Black culture for decades .

And yes… it’s going to be a MOVIE.

T.I. Will Headline The Halftime Show
Atlanta’s own T.I. will hit the halftime stage, performing some of his biggest records during the nationally anticipated night .

Tip isn’t new to the Hawks stage, he first performed at halftime back in 2012, and now, 10 years later, he’s returning for a celebration rooted in Atlanta legacy. The Grammy-winning rapper, entrepreneur, and cultural voice is also preparing to release his 12th studio album,
"Kill The King," later this year .

Live “Hawks AF Podcast” Recording Featuring Jami Gertz, T.I. &
Mr. Magic
Fans who arrive early will get access to a special live recording of the Hawks AF Podcast hosted by D.C. Young Fly.
The conversation will include: Hawks Principal Owner Jami Gertz, Magic City founder Michael “Mr. Magic” Barney, and T.I.

The discussion will spotlight the cultural impact of Magic City and the STARZ docuseries Magic City: An American Fantasy, which explored the club’s 40-year legacy in hip-hop and Black culture.

The documentary was produced by Gertz alongside Atlanta music mogul Jermaine Dupri and featured interviews with hip-hop heavyweights like Big Boi and Killer Mike.

Will There Be Wings?
It wouldn’t be Magic City without the wings.

Magic City Kitchen will serve their “world famous” lemon pepper wings. including Louwill Lemon Pepper, BBQ, and traditional Lemon Pepper, throughout State Farm Arena while supplies last.

Limited-Edition “Magic City” Hawks Hoodie Drops
For the collectors and the culture lovers, the Hawks Shop is releasing a limited-edition Peachtree-themed “Magic City” hoodie featuring bold peach lettering, the Hawks logo, and the Peach emblem.

The exclusive piece will be available in-arena and online starting March 16th.

Magic City isn’t just a club, it’s a cultural institution that helped shape Atlanta’s sound, from mixtapes breaking in the DJ booth to artists testing records before they hit the radio.

By bringing that energy into State Farm Arena, the Hawks are celebrating something bigger than basketball, they’re celebrating the heartbeat of the city.
