Here Are Your Metro Atlanta Grammy Nominees

The Grammy nominations for 2025 are out and the ATL is represented in a major way in a number of categories. From classical to hip hop, the upcoming Grammy Award nominations really shows how Atlanta does indeed influence music and culture.

Check out the list of metro Atlanta stars who were nominated below!


Usher
Usher has had an incredible year. He performed at the Super Bowl, he got Atlanta's highest award, the Phoenix Award, and now he can add another Grammy nomination to his list for his album "Coming Home," for Best R&B album. Usher's producer, Dernst "D Mile" Emile II, is also listed for the Producer of the Year award for his work on the singer's songs "I Love U" and "One of Them Ones."

Teddy Swims
Teddy, who is from Conyers, was nominated for Best New Artist. He released his debut album "I've Tried Everything, But Therapy (Part 1)" in 2019, and has plans to release his third studio album, "I've Tried Everything, But Therapy (Part 2)," in January.

Future
Future is nominated thanks to his work on "Like That" with Kendrick Lamar and Metro Boomin. "Like That" is nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song. Future also received a nomination for his album with Metro Boomin, "We Don't Trust You," for Best Rap Album and "We Still Don't Trust You" with Metro Boomin featuring The Weeknd.

André 3000
This Atlanta icon's "New Blue Sun" flute record is nominated for Album of the Year. This shocking album was released last November and is an album that features no raps from the famed rapper, but his fluting work instead.

Latto
The Clayton County-born artist was nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance for her song "Big Mama."

Childish Gambino
The metro Atlanta artist and actor has been nominated for two Grammys for 2025. His latest studio album, "Bando Stone And The New World," which appears to be the soundtrack of a movie of the same name, has been nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album.

Childish Gambino, whose real name is Donald Glover, has also been nominated for his feature on KAYTRANADA's song "Witchy" for Best Dance/Electronic Recording.

Playboi Carti
Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti, also known as Jordan Carter, was nominated for his feature on Carnival by ¥$, Kanye West and Ty Dollar Sign's duo, for Best Rap Song.

Omari Hardwick
Actor Omari Hardwick who is well known for his role in the hit TV drama "Power" has also been nominated. The Decatur artist was nominated for Best Spoken Word Poetry Album for his "cOncrete & wHiskey Act II Part 1: A Bourbon 30 Series."

Jimmy Carter
Former President Jimmy Carter was nominated for best audio book, narration, and storytelling recording (best spoken word album). He is the oldest nominee at 100 years old.

Colin Leonard
Atlanta-based engineer who did the Mastering for Beyoncé's "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" (Record of the Year nominee) and "Cowboy Carter" (Album of the Year nominee). was nominated for Producer Of The Year, Classical.

Megan Moroney
Douglasville's songwriter was nominated several times for the Best Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical category.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
Led by Nathalie Stutzmann, nominated in Best Orchestral Performance for Dvořák's Symphony No. 9, 'From The New World'; American Suite.
