On Thursday, May 8, Tina Knowles, the mother of Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Solange Knowles, visited Atlanta for an event titled An Evening
With Tina Knowles.

Hosted and moderated by Tyler Perry, the event was held at Atlanta’s “The Tabernacle,” attracting hundreds of avid book readers who eagerly listened to Tina Knowles’ words. The evening commenced with an electrifying performance by gospel star, Le’Andria Johnson, who instantly captivated the audience, sending them into an instant praise and worship before the event even started.

Her book titled, Matriarch: A Memoir, has been selected as Oprah’s
new book club pick and has been on the New York Times Best Sellers
List. Tina Knowles’s memoir offers a unique and personal perspective
on her life, revealing both her joys and challenges. It is a

showcasing the world-making power of Black motherhood.
