2 Chainz has been quite busy recently and before heading out to LA for Super Bowl LVI he stopped in studio with John and Hugh to discuss his new album, Atlanta sports, and more.
2 Chainz is commonly spotted at various sporting events held in Atlanta, and at 6'5 he actually played collegiately at Alabama State.
What chatting with The Morning Show, he took stock of the Hawks ahead of the trade deadline and if he thinks the team can make a run similar to last year.
"So many things happened last year to really put a spotlight on Atlanta, super appreciative of last year, but we're really far away," says 2 Chainz. "Approaching the trade (deadline), we need some defense and energy that's not in the scouting report, some different energy, but we can put together some wins, they're starting to look like they were at the end of the (last) year."
2 Chainz is tightly tied to the Hawks, regularly attending games and even having a minority ownership stake in the College Park Skyhawks.
